Senior Software Engineer

Location: Foxboro, MA

Duration: 3+months

Description:
Our client, a dynamic software company, is seeking a highly talented Senior Software Engineer for a 3 month contract. The contractor will be a part of the R&D department collaborating as part of an Agile Team to design and implement data mart and database solutions. 

Requirements: 
• 7+ years designing and implementing data mart, ETL, reporting and database solutions using a variety of technologies including Oracle and Cognos. 
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment, delivering high quality software into a production environment on a monthly basis. 
• Experience mentoring developers on database, ETL and data mart technologies. 
• Experience developing Java EE applications for WebLogic and JBoss application servers. 
• Java hands-on coding experience on both Windows and Linux platforms 
• Hands on expert with Spring, Hibernate, PL/SQL and Oracle. 
• Proficient Test Driven Development practitioner. 
• Proficient with standard Java development tools such as Eclipse, Maven, Ant, Subversion, Cruise Control, jUnit and DbUnit. 
• Software startup experience.
