Announcement: The Architect Factory -- (Event)

Call for Content and Speakers

We welcome speakers regardless of technology background (PHP, .NET, Java, etc.) to deliver sessions that will familiarize senior developers with the areas that all architects should understand to succeed. During this event there will be 3 focused tracks: Enterprise Architecture, Solution Architecture, and Architecture Leadership

**Note: The Call for Content and Speakers will close on Thursday Jan 21, 2010.

Enterprise Architecture Track (EA) seeks to find the best application of technology in support of an organization’s business agenda. Enterprise architects play a significant role in developing business strategy, uncovering opportunities for greater economies of scale, and minimizing duplicate or conflicting efforts all the while considering the company’s limited funds and human capital.

We are interested in submissions that:

If you are the Enterprise Architect of a solution and want to share your expertise, please submit an abstract of your session to Michael Stiefel (development@reliablesoftware.com) for review. Submissions should contain a title and a 1 paragraph description.

Solution Architecture Track (SA) will showcase sessions that focus on the logical and physical architecture of innovative solutions that incorporate one or more of the following:

If you are the lead architect of a solution and want to share your expertise, please submit an abstract of your session to Bob Familiar (bob.familiar@microsoft.com) for review. Submissions should contain a title and a 1 paragraph description.

Architecture Leadership (AL) -- Communicating an architectural vision, leadership skills, and taking criticism constructively are some of the challenges faced by todays Software Architects. These sessions focus on political awareness, understanding organizational needs, systems, networks for the purposes of influencing solution outcomes and technology roadmaps.

If you would like to share your expertise in this area, please submit an abstract of your session to Bryan Tuttle (Bryan_Tuttle@CodeRight.com) for review. Submissions should contain a title and a 1 paragraph description.
