The candidate should have extensive J2EE web development experience, excellent verbal and written communication skills. The candidate will be responsible for the design, development, and maintenance of software applications.
Required Skills
· Proven expertise across a broad spectrum of Web 2.0 technologies (Ajax/JavaScript, DHTML, JSON / XML & web services APIs). Familiarity with Ext JS and object oriented JavaScript is a strong plus
· Cross-browser development (IE 6/7/8, Firefox) using JavaScript, XHTML, XSL, CSS, and XML;
· Minimum 5 years experience with building commercial software applications using Java/JSP, Hibernate, PL/SQL in a J2EE environment;
· Solid understanding of MVC applied to OO principles, patterns, relational databases
· Experience with a complete SDLC utilizing Iterative development methodologies (SCRUM, XP, RUP)
· Ability to take business requirements and define product requirements, functional and design specifications, and create prototypes;
· BS or MS in Computer Science or related fields, or equivalent.
