Announcement: Rackspace Hosting - Senior Java Developer Opportunity
The most competitive candidate will have the following:
• Hands on experience developing enterprise web applications in Java / J2EE, Hibernate, Spring
• Experience mentoring and leading more junior developers
• Experience building RESTful web services
• 5+ years experience in object oriented software development
• Full understanding of the entire software development life cycle
• Familiarity with Agile development methodologies
• Previous experience working with various API’s
• Experience working with databases (bonus if MySQL or PostgreSQL)
• Previous QA experience
• Bonus if you have worked with the Spring framework and Hibernate
• Bonus if you have experience developing in Python, PHP or Ruby
• Bonus if you have experience developing in other languages such as Java, Python or Ruby
