Topic: Real-world Java in the Boston Area
    (Confirmed)

With all of the new technology hype, do you ever stop and wonder how much of it is really being used in the "real world"? This meeting will survey what some of the NEJUG members are working on in the real world. Members from the NEJUG will each give a 5-15 minute presentation on the use of Java in their work. The presentations will be formatted as follows:

    - Describe the application (what is it doing?)
    - Describe and illustrate the architecture, design and technology used
    - Discuss problems, issues, opinions, or success stories with the project
    - Brief Q&A

I am looking for NEJUG members to give short presentations about how you are using Java. Please, no product demonstrations - this is intended to show how Java is being used in the community, and not a forum for demonstrating a product. Please email Mark Richards at nejug@apexcgi.com with your name and what you are working on.

This is an excellent chance to see what other members of the group are working on, and what technology solutions work and don't work. Apex Consulting Group, Inc. will be providing free pizza and soft drinks for the meeting. And once again, if you cannot be there right at 5:30pm, please still try to make it!
